PriestleySoundy makes annual presentation at Oxford University

On 22 April 2022, PriestleySoundy presented to the MSc in Law and Finance Class of 2022 (actually in person this year) at the University of Oxford, in the Cube.

The MSc in Law and Finance is a full-time, ten month programme offering students with a prior background in law, and from all around the world, the chance to develop an advanced interdisciplinary understanding of relevant economic and financial contexts.  It is led by academic thinking and informed by practice.  MLF graduates go on to successful, high impact careers in law, finance, policy and academia.

Lasting the whole afternoon, the session involved a detailed analysis and presentation of an anonymised case study by a student team, followed by thorough questioning from the rest of the class and concluded by a final reveal from PriestleySoundy.

This is the seventh time that Sarah and Mark have been asked to make an annual presentation.  The programme is run by Thom Wetzer, Associate Professor of Law and Finance and Fellow of Linacre College (who is, himself, an MLF graduate), and Peter O’Loughlin, also an MLF alumnus and a Departmental Lecturer in Law and Finance.
