PriestleySoundy advised Steven Hegarty (Co-Founder, Managing Director and CEO) and Janett Lozano (Co-Founder, Operations Director and Chief Operating Officer) of NUTMEG AND HIVE on their employment arrangements and certain aspects of their shareholder arrangements in connection with a growth capital investment in their business by IRIS Ventures.

IRIS Ventures is a Barcelona-based growth equity firm empowering a new generation of extraordinary brands and founders. In December 2021, the firm announced a Euro 100m fund to invest in European consumer brands. The fund is a partnership between private equity firm Altamar, who raised the capital and are the fund managers, and the IRIS Ventures team who will give investment direction to the fund.
